Heart of Georgia Altamaha Workforce Investment Act now has a program to help you hire unskilled workers and get reimbursement up to 90% (depending on the number of employees you have) while they are being trained.
This new Agricultural On-the-Job Training program is geared to help our farmers find needed workers as they acquire the skills and knowledge to perform the tasks necessary to farming operations.
For more information on this you can call Sherry P. Hardeman at 478-374-6573 or Jenica L. Sheffield at 478-374-6572.
Either of these ladies will meet with you and explain exactly how this program works.
